Personal Information

Good Keepsakes uses information from forms, correspondence, and intake forms solely to provide the agreed upon service. We do not share your information with anyone outside of Good Keepsakes. If you opt for the digital files to be stored for your retrieval on a cloud service such as Google, you understand that Good Keepsakes cannot control the online hosting environment's security.

Unlawful Media

Good Keepsakes is for personal use only and will not be able to duplicate copyrighted materials. We comply with applicable laws and may disclose personal information from our records to law enforcement, authorities, or other parties as necessary. By requesting our services, you agree that the media/materials you provide are owned by you and they are not distasteful (libelous, obscene, offensive, threatening, defamatory, abusive, hateful) or violate state or federal law. If violations of the law are found during processing, we will take necessary steps to comply with our obligation under law, including, but not limited to, reporting to and complying with relevant authorities. We reserve the right to deem any media as distasteful and refuse service of the entire order or a specific portion of the media. If media is deemed distasteful or illegal, you will still be required to pay for the portion of the media that was converted and for the way in which you receive the digital files for the portions not distasteful.

Risk of Loss

Although we make every effort to control the environment in which your media is stored, we do not take responsibility for acts of nature that may damage your media at our facility or in transit. We also cannot take responsibility for your media should it be damaged from the conversion process since older media is prone to deterioration. By submitting your media to us, you understand there is a risk you may not receive your original media back in the same condition it is when given to us. You also release us from liability for your media while they are handled or transported by us.

Payment, Refunds, & Returns

Payment is due prior to digital copies being released to you. If you have changed your mind and work has already begun to convert your media, you will owe half of the estimated cost prior to your original materials being returned to you. Once work is completed on your media, you will owe the entirety of the cost prior to receiving originals and/or digital versions.

If you are not satisfied with the quality of our product, please inquire with us about a partial refund as these will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
